I've read the previous 2 Yahoo! Answers on this subject and have this to add:
First of all vinegar only works on the coffee stains.
Second, will bleach or Clorox leach the plastic or ruin the taste of future coffee?
Has anyone tried CLR? What is it?
Or is it time to buy a new one? What did you do?
And how do I prevent this from happening again?
I would try to clean the reservoir with some bleach water and a tooothbrush. Don't run the bleach water thru the coffee maker , just pour it out over the sink, maybe do this several times. Then follow up with several brewing cycles with plain water just to rinse all thouroughly. You COULD run the solution thru the coffee maker and see if if will affect the plastic as far as taste goes, you've got nothing to lose as you can't use it now with the mold. Vinegar is for the hard water mineral build-up . CLR is for Calcuim , rust and lime. Call the manufacturer or see if they have a website and ask their Customer Service Dept. **Many coffee makers are generally inexpensive, so consider buying a new one. In the future, store the coffee maker with the reservoir door or lid OPEN.

I mean whats a good way of going about setting up a business. Would you work while building up the business with the wages, or would you save up and make the business in one go?
Also, what type of business do you think is good, providing a service like dry cleaning, or serving products?

So if you start up a cafe, you spend £10000 on say the building, £500 on fixed assets and stuff to manage the business, eg coffee maker, coffee, bread etc. Upon opening the business, how do you go about making all that £10500 plus more at the end of the year?

I wouldn't even bother setting up a business, unless you have something you are passionate about something.
To set up a business you need to do the background work. Competition around already, costs in running the business, are you providing a service for which people can do with out - you business will fail.
Are you in business with the perception you'll be instantly wealthy.
If you start a cafe, you will be in competing with every one else in the area. If people have no money, they are not going to spend money on food and coffee.
You need to establish the type of business you want to be in.
