How can I stop a leaky coffee pot/carafe?
I have purchased *so* many drip coffee makers over the years (different brands) and about 90% of them drip when you try to pour out of the carafe. This makes a big mess, not to mention the chance of burning someone with hot coffee. I just bought a new 12 cup coffee maker and it's one of the worst with this problem I have had.
Has anyone else noticed this and is there a solution? The coffee just seems to dribble down the spout when pouring into a cup. If you pour fast it seems to spill everywhere 
. This is SO frustrating! Help!
One of the best things I have done is to do away with those leaky carafes altogether!
Using a coffee on demand type coffee maker is the answer. And one of the best benefits is that the coffee on demand system doesn't use a heat plate to keep a carafe of coffee hot. So your freshly brewed coffee stays hot and fresh for hours in the insulated carafe. Similar to a thermal carafe coffee maker ... only way better.
