What mug will keep it warmer for longer(thermos/stanelyetc)?
Hi,am looking for a good thermos mug that will keep my coffee hot over 2 hours .i have never found one yet that does. i have had 3 of the thermos brand(king) and just bought a stanley which seems to keep my Coffee hotter for 15 Min's longer than the thermos (1h45min)
I have been told that if you get a vacuum filled between the wall of the mug is would be the best at keeping drinks warm as their is no air.(don't know if the is true thought).
So basically any advice or experiences on what you recommend on these mugs to keep hot drinks hot for longer would be greatful.
I know this might be a silly post but i work outside all day and at the moment in north scotland.

The best practical is a mirrored glass vacuum bottle with the smallest opening and a stopper of the highest practical insulating value. Fill it completely. Pre-heat it with boiling water before you fill it. Gradually, so you don't crack the glass.

there must be no air between the cap and the fluid for the vacuum effect to work,and pre-warming the vessel will enhance it's ability to keep the fluid hot longer.You can also wrap a cloth around the container as a blanketing agent to further hold in the warmth,like a neoprene jacket or styrofoam coozie does.
