so can someone tell me wat to do about this weight gain and if it will be hard to get rid of?? and is it fat or muscle or bone??? im confused?

Hi, I'm a med student with a nutrition minor, so here you go.

First of all - those candy bars aren't doing you any favors! When you lose weight by cutting back on food intake, you typically gain some of it back when you up your calorie intake again, particularly if you cut exercise too. Females should be getting 2000 calories when they are NOT trying to lose weight and are exercising regularly. For only 30 minutes of exercise, and just weight training at that, you really can't not gain weight unless you are taking in 1600 calories or less. If you take in less, you will lose weight.

Weight training does not help you lose weight, I'm sorry to say. It helps build muscle, but Cardio exercise and ONLY cardio will help you actually lose the fat your body has accumulated. Otherwise, you will simply build muscle under fat. Weight loss you've experienced so far has been solely from the calorie-cutting, and so when you stopped cutting calories, you stopped losing weight and started packing the pounds back on. Because of the weight training, its probably not all in fat, but it IS weight gain.

Try a cardio workout program, 45 minutes a day, 5 times a week. Running, dance, or speed walking work best. Be consistent! This helps you lose that spare tire middle or flabby thighs!

For diet, you should be eating a LOT of green vegetables - they are high in nutrients but low in fat. NO SODA, NO CANDY, NO SWEETS! Sorry, but you will have to forgo Halloween candy if you're serious about losing weight. If you can't do this, try to restrict yourself to one bar a day, before 8 at night. If you don't exercise, don't eat candy that day - it's all about self-discipline.
Try substitution as well - lean meat instead of red meat steaks, skim milk instead of whole, lite cheese, egg whites, whole wheat pasta, etc. Eating healthy will make your whole body feel better, not jsut help you lose weight!

Good luck, and stick to the plan! If your BMR is in the mid-1400 range, chances are you aren't overweight, but borderline. Therefore, you should be careful to lose a little weight, but not to starve yourself! See a physician or nutritionist if you need help understanding your body's nutritional needs.
