OK, here's the scenario.
My girlfriend and I have dated for 6 months. We are both in our 30's by the way.
To make this long story short, she would have dinner, coffee, drinks, with guys she used to date. She recently had coffee with one of her ex-dates and is going to his Christmas party at work. She went to his party last year - that was before she met me.
She told me that they dated a couple of times but decided just to be friends afterwards.
First of all, I just want to know if being jealous as a first reaction on my part is normal.
Second, I just want to know if she would ever go back to dating him or maybe becoming boyfriend/girlfriend?
I don't want to sound concerned but I just don't want to worry about losing my girlfriend, that's all.

for most girls its normal i hang out with my ex's all the time. yea you should be jealous. but only to a point..

If I get there first, should I go ahead and buy myself a coffee and wait? Or do I wait outside? Do I wait in the car and text him to find out how far he is and then walk in together? And then do I offer to pay, or would that offend his manliness? Thanks!

If you go inside and he doesn't show up, then you won't be embarrassed. Let him pay for the coffee. He should have had you meet him for dinner. Even in this day of women's lib. men still want to pay.
