Gift ideas for my boyfriend's mom?
I'm trying to figure out what to get my boyfriends mom for Christmas. We've been dating for almost two years. So far I've only given her a few gifts for other holidays. I got her a really cute candle one time (it was a big one in a honey like jar) and a few greeting cards. And one time we went on vacation to New Orleans I got her a coffee cup that was really pretty that she really liked.
However, I don't know what I should get her this time. She is about 40 and is a nurse. I was thinking of getting her some sort of Christan book but I don't know of any good ones. Any ideas??

you could just go to borders or barnes and noble or whatever book store you have in your town and ask for suggestions, i'm sure they'd be glad to help! if not, i'm sure she'd love anything that'd relax her after work. candles, incense, slippers, see's chocolate, peppermints, etc!

How do I develop a friendship with this person?
I have just recently moved to a new city. About 3 weeks ago I found a little coffee shop run by a very nice man who makes unbelievably great coffee and pie. I have been to his shop 3 times and he has started recognizing me and is very friendly. I asked him if he would make a special pie for me to buy as a gift to a lady I work with.
I just don't know how to take it to the friendship level without seeming like a creep. I don't want him to think I'm pester-some or annoying.
I make pickled eggs that are to die for and thought about taking him a jar but my dad thinks that sounds stalkerish.
A friendship is all I am interested in as I am happily married with 2 kids
I put this in mental help because I figure somebody out there has experience with or as a psychiatrist and I figure they would know what to say
I am not obsessed, I just know that we could be friends... and I most certainly am not in love with him
Since this man is so friendly and you would like to be friends only, why not take your family for a nice round of coffee and pie as often as you like.
