Is the way I drink my coffee in the morning ok?
I'm trying to change the way I eat and become more healthy, but I cannot give up a cup of coffee in the morning (I can, however, give up the tasty creamers because of the dairy which I cannot have sometimes).
Anyways I have decided to drink one cup of coffee in the morning which I make at home.
I drink Starbucks Espresso Roast
1/4 cup of orangic soy milk unsweetened
and one packet of splenda (I know it's not good to use artificial sweetners, but I cannot use sugar.. Too fatty)
:/ whoops I know there is no fat in sugar I guess I meant too bad for you..
dark roast coffee has less caffeine and more flavor
so that's a plus.
Hows much sugar are you eating in a day that you need to cut out a teaspoon from the morning brew?
Where in Hong Kong can one buy freshly roasted coffee beans? (starbucks and pacific coffee don't have them)?
I can't find quality coffee beans to grind at home and make my own coffee. The beans at starbucks and pacific coffee are stale when I buy them.
Starbucks is ok, Park n' shop also has good quality commercial stuff but if you're really into coffe try out hkcoffe. They have rather silly opening hours, (5pm - 7:30pm) but you can order from their website and their beans are a lot cheaper than most coffee shops in hk.
