Confused about the calories per pump of starbucks syrups....Help?
This website is saying that the average for caramel/classic/toffee, etc. is 20 per pump:

So I figured 5 pumps is 100 calories, right? But when I went there they said that no, it's 70 (the bottle says 70 but per 2 TBSP's) and they insisted that a pump was 2 full tablespoons. So that means that with 5 pumps it would be 350 calories....to me there is NO WAY it could be that caloric/sugary because I've had iced coffee with 5 pumps before and it was not as sweet as I would imagine having 350 calories worth of sugar taste.
Anyone know what the deal is?
Wrong. They have to be confused. It's 70 calories per serving, which is about 3 pumps for a medium.
Then consider the calories of milk and any sugar added as well as whipped cream.
The total calories in an iced vanilla latte (medium) is 230.
Try ordering that skinny!
