My 6 Month old baby head butted a leg on my coffee table really hard. Should i be worried?
He doesn't have a bruise, just a nasty red mark next to his eye. Has anyone else's baby done this or hit their head hard? He is acting normal. I'm a first time mom so I'm not sure if I should be worried.
Oh bless him, poor wee tot. Over the next few years (and possibly longer) you will have loads of these bumps to contend with! As long as he is acting fine, isn't suddenly drowsy, the bump doesn't swell too much and there is no blood coming from his ears or nose, then he will be fine. Keep a close eye on him and if you are really worried, take him to the hospital or doctors for them to have a quick check over.
Where can I buy padding for our coffee table legs?
Our son has just started pulling up on things and he bumps his head on the legs of our coffe table all the time and they have little designs on them that are pointy. I've seen the table edge cushions but nothing for the legs. Does anyone know of anything or where i can buy something like that? My Mom suggested I duct tape towels around the legs but I'd like something that looks a little less redneck That's what she says she did with us, that's gonna be my last resort.
You should consider getting a leather ottoman as a replace for your coffee table. Ottomans perform the same function as coffee tables but have added bonus of having soft edges, which would solve your problem.
