I need a perculator for a stainless steel coffee urn manufactured by United Metal Goods of Brooklyn 30 yrs ago
The coffee maker was made about 35 years ago. I lost the part where the coffee grinds go and thus can no longer make coffee in the urn. The bottom of the urn has United Metal Goods, Brooklyn New York, 550 w and 115 v. written on it. It also has a catalog number of 840.A. It was purchased as part of a package that included the silverware, the china, and the coffee maker. There is no UnitedMetalGoods.com listed as a website.
Alot of area caterers have those parts left over somewhere in storage. Contact all the area caterers and go and see what they have and buy it from them. You can also check the area caterering supply companies, as they also have most of the old brands that have been updated and you can use new parts.
