Where can I buy some exquisite coffee online?
I'd like personal opinions on which websites offer the most (in your opinion) delicious coffee grounds. I, personally, am not a coffee drinker, but my boyfriend loves to drink coffee, but can seldom find any grounds he really enjoys in the grocery stores, so I thought I would surprise him with a gift. 
The big problem is that any coffee that's pre-ground will already be stale, as is anything in a can or jar. Those "fresh" beans in the clear dispensers aren't any good either.
If you want fresh taste & aren't willing to roast your own, buy whole beans in a valve-sealed bag & grind it right before brewing.
Capresso makes a good, relatively inexpensive burr grinder.
I used to use it, before I upgraded for a grinder better for espresso.
I have 7 ways to brew coffee & fresh always tastes better.
Also, never put coffee in the fridge or freezer. Keep it cool & in an airtight/lightproof container (preferably ceramic).
Update: Thanks for the support Kore. Just to let you both know, home roasting doesn't need to be expensive (or difficult). I started with a small roaster years ago, and when it died I looked at the $500-1000 models. I like being involved (that's why I don't have an electric coffee machine). I use a stainless steel bowl with a strainer inserted (so air can circulate around the beans) and a $60 heat gun I bought at the hardware store. The coffe is delicious. Of course if you're looking for perfection (boring) or repeatability for business, you'll want a machine, but this way is cheap & fun, although it's tougher in the winter.
