I'm from Calgary, Alberta..
Our boom is clearly over, but I'm still under the impression it's easier to find a good job in Calgary as long as you have some education and that in Vancouver, people with degrees and Masters are working in the kitchens of chain restaurants while working part time at coffee shops to make ends meet in rent-city..
I know people love Vancouver; I love Vancouver. I go as a visitor though, not a citizen, so I may be a little jaded..
Is this stereotype of the city true..
I know for sure I won't be able to own a crazy expensive house in Vancouver.. and rent is comparable to rent in Calgary.. it's just the income factor.. if it's pretty difficult to find a well enough paying job and cheap rent (in Calgary standards)is even hard to afford im concerned...
What industries are in need of people.. the forestry industry..?
