People already use this phrase to meet up so build on any coffee shop becoming The only coffee shop they visit.

What's happening to me? Is this normal?

So two years ago, I was all about "brand names" and money. All I wanted was money to buy expensive clothes and hair products.
NOW: I don't want anything anymore! I shop at Ross now, and I could careless about brands and what not.
I used to be so social and "popular", and once I became friends with a drug addict, they all left me. (And no, I didn't become a drug addict myself).

All I do now is: read, swim, draw, walk, watch Heath Ledger movies, go to coffee shops and what not.
And I enjoy it.

But, what's going on?
Has this ever happened to anyone?
Where you don't care about anything anymore and you live to please only yourself?

Well, it honestly doesn't sound like you've changed that much at all, except you've dropped your materialism. Being all about brand names and money is extremely self serving, and the only reason people want these things is to please themselves. Maybe you feel like you've only just become someone who lives only to please herself because most materialism is masked by consumer advertisements as being necessary and cool if you want friends. Doing what you're doing now is simply another way of achieving the same goal, only you aren't fooling yourself anymore.

Because you're posing this question, I think you're on the verge of realizing this, but maybe its not that you've changed, its that you aren't satisfied with it anymore. You aren't interested in anything because you're bored of superfluous crap, and you're in that stage where you're apathetic because you're maturing and your interests are beginning to border on real meaningful activities, but you haven't tried doing anything meaningful yet, so you're stuck.

The bottom line is, when you're becoming apathetic about the things in your old life and your new life leaves you feeling like "you live to please only yourself," (which I assume is not a very fulfilling feeling for you), its a sign that you need to get more involved in life. Help out in your community some, volunteer at an animal shelter once a week, or at a soup kitchen. I think if you do even one of these things a couple of times, you'll start to feel much better.
